When will this portion of the review be offered?

Can I attend and pay for just this portion of the 3-day CCHPBC board exam review?

What topics will be reviewed in the differential diagnosis portion?

There will be a wide range of topics covered, mostly addressing common and urgent conditions that would typically be seen in a general practice

I've learned literally years worth of biomedical and diagnostic information on a wide range of diseases. What more can you do in a day and a half?

We will shift how you look at diagnosis - there will be a short didactic portion where key laboratory, imaging, and procedural (i.e. scopes, ECGs) diagnostic methods are discussed. We'll get you to re-organize your disease knowledge with a diagnostics focus in mind

Next we will discuss common complaints and work on methods for creating robust differentials

The remainder of the review will be spent working through cases in a format similar to what you'll see during the board exams

Is it just going to be hours of lectures and powerpoints?

Nope. A minority of the information delivery will be didactic, but you will be presented with cases and asked to demonstrate your knowledge. It will be a friendly, low-pressure environment that will offer you a wealth of useful feedback.

Most importantly, the review will demonstrate effective ways of re-structuring your existing knowledge to improve clinical relevance.
